Best Kill in Silent Night, Deadly Night
Well, it's Christmas season once more, and with Anchor Bay's recent remake of everyone's favorite slasher out now (SILENT NIGHT), let's look back at the original naughty classic and pick our favorite death scene. By antlers, by sled, by axe, bye bye...what's your favorite murder in SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT?

I went with the sledding decapitation, but antler scene is great too

there are a lot of great kills in the movie, but the antlers and sled decapitation are clear stand-outs. i went for the antlers, since they include the added bonus of Linnea Quigley's breasts.

Well the antlers is certainly the most memorable, but unlike dave thinks, not for the breasts. I haven't seen SNDN since, well, a long time ago, but the antlers for sure. Other than Billy going postal, that's pretty much all I recall of that film.

As much as Linnea Quigley getting impaled on the deer antlers should be my pick, I must go with the sled decapitation. Just fits much more with the Holiday spirit!

The antlers is great, but I also love the box cutter. It's cruel.

Just found out that the Alamo Drafthouse in Kansas City, MO is showing SNDN in 35MM tonight at 7:00. Would be nice to see it in 35MM, but I watched it last weekend, along with the remake.

Wow...
I just watched this movie 2 months ago and I can't remember a thing about the death scenes. A box cutter? I think I remember the arrow one but, I wasn't impressed. I... think I thought the sled one was alright. Not the scene, the characters, dialogue, etc (they were abysmal). But the "kill." Guess I'll vote for that.

As much as I like the antler and sled deaths, for me it's when the deaf Santa gets it. The way it is shot, in slow mo and all gratuitous with all the squibs and blood gushing, just sends me in hysterics every time I see it. Talk about a bad day for that poor old man and all the kids staring in horror!
