Pretty much yeah, but Trancers is a little below average in A/V quality even for Full Moon DVD standards.

And some of their old DVD's are Pan & Scan ( The Day Time Ended) — or heavily cut/censored versions like Fairy Tales and Beach Babes from Beyond.

I'll just wait for the UK Blu-rays. Better encodes, audio, and packaging.

I'm sure the US Subspecies sequel Blu-rays will have the same old antiquated lossy audio as all of their previous Blu-ray releases.

With all these releases, I wonder when Full Moon will announce a US counterpart for them.

Saw Dollman the other day for the first time. It took me at least five tries to get through it all. Such a shitty movie that moves at snail pace. I was surprised.

I don't think it's quite that bad, but it's definitely one of my least favorite early FM efforts.

I really wish 88 Films would release Meridian, but that might be in need of a new HD master first. I know they were asked about Tourist Trap, and Full Moon would need to strike a new HD master first.

I was going to order Meridian and Pit early this month but I glad I held off because of the recent Pit blu announcement... that move made me held of even more my desire to buy Meridian.

It's pretty bad, but then Albert Pyun is a pretty bad director. One of the worst in fact. Dollman is one of his better efforts.

And Albert Pyun studied under Akira Kurosawa too. But yeah, Dollman is better than a lot of his films. His recent film Tales of an Ancient Empire (semi-sequel to Sword & the Sorcerer) is beyond bad.

He did direct Alien from L.A. though, which I love.
