Just watched Deodato's Waves of Lust DVD today. Better than expected. There is a decent interview with the director taken in 2005 which is a great supplement for the film.

Has anybody confirmed for certain that it is 16x9 widescreen on the disc? It doesn't look like Diabolik even specified this in the description.

I see that somebody has added it to DVD Profiler as "Full Frame" but alas haven't yet uploaded the back cover...

Buying imports on Diabolik can be a bit of a crapshoot since they don't list specs or anything about the films besides the title and region coding. A couple of DVDs I've purchased from them turned out to be of crappy quality. On the positive side, they don't seem to sell anything that doesn't at least feature an English soundtrack. I'm interested in Deodato's Body Count DVD but I'm not taking the plunge until I see a review or two.

It's in fullscreen ( not sure if it ever was released in theaters but there isn't any headroom ( empty spaces)) I'm ASSUMING pan and scan.

No features, but the image looked a little better than my dutch dvd, scanned through a few murders so I assume it isn't cut, lasts 83 minutes exactly
