Tobe Hooper's LIFEFORCE (1985) from Scream Factory 4/30
Naked ‘80s space vampires threaten zombie takeover in Tobe Hooper’s LIFEFORCE (1985), coming to blu from the Scream Factory label! While on deep space exploration through the tail of Halley’s Comet, the crew of the spaceship Churchhill discover three nude humanoids in super sci-fi suspended animation coolers. Bringing them back to Earth seemed like a good idea at the time, but our intergalactic life-suckers have different plans, unleashing an undead apocalypse throughout the streets of London. A gloriously trashy, unapologetically insane slice of Cannon Group madness, LIFEFORCE was panned during its initial release, only to find an appreciative cult growing years later. Shout Factory promises to cater to this crowd, offering new commentaries, documentaries and more! "She's totally alien to this planet and our life form... and totally dangerous."
DVD / Blu combo: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B00AWWX6XY Trailer (some nudity, of course!): http://youtu.be/BTM0lAiSJ6w ![]() EXTRAS for LIFEFORCE: - Both Theatrical & International Versions of the film (Theatrical cut available on the Blu-ray only.) - New Commentary with Director Tobe Hooper - New Retrospective with Cast & Crew including Star Steve Railsback, Tobe Hooper and others! - Original vintage “Making-Of Lifeforce” Featurette - Original Theatrical Trailer - TV Spot - Still Gallery - And more to be announced!

Thanks for the heads up bruce. Preordered this and "Vampire Lovers." I hope the price drops to $14 as well before it ships.

You're right. I can't complain though. I was just as ecstatic about Vampire Lovers coming in at $14 as I was that it was being released by Shout, on blu, in the first place.

I'm sure its a mistake they haven't corrected yet, but amazon.ca is still listing the release date as Apr.30th.

Hear, hear! Am anxious to check out the specs when they are released. I'm sure the SF transfer will be great, but will wait and see before I commit.
