Nice! The Shout extras are definitely superior to what's been announced (this far at least) for the UK Blu-ray release.

They'll be announced tomorrow on the Scream Factory Facebook page.

I just saw the list of extras on the Second Sight UK release of From Beyond and have decided that I'm gonna go with the Scream Factory release.

I have the UK sphere set which has a documentary on the entire series and the same commentary included on this version, but I'll be picking this one up for those deleted scenes and new docs.

The crown jewel of the set? Rarely do we get to see Mr. Scrimm, err, Mr. Guy get to act without a scowl on his face whilst using a deep and menacing voice. His short time as Jebediah Morningside is about it. Maybe one day Jim the Worlds Greatest will see the light of day on home video.

You can generally count on that with blu-ray. Even if the transfers kinda suck you can usually count on at least the colors beig better lol.

First review of the UK from beyond blu, they note that the blu ray release is indeed in steelbook packaging.

That's odd, everything I've read so far seemed to indicate there was NO steelbook for this release. Crap, I may have to get this AND shouts version now...

I have these pre-ordered on Amazon, and the release date is listed as March 26th.

But I was looking at DVDEmpire and they have the street date listed as March 5th. Plus, they have the back-cover scans up, which means they have them in-stock.

So anyone who ordered from DVDEmpire might be getting this early. Most sites have the 26th listed.
