Especially considering all the terrible DTV nazi horror movies that have came out the last few years.

Definitely Shock Waves. Still creeps me out. I thought Dead Snow started out great but very quickly went downhill and left me disappointed.

I'm going to break up the Shock Waves love and throw in a vote for Blood Creek.
A lot of people crapped on it, and its theatrical release was set up to fail (dumped into a bunch of $1 theaters), so I wasn't expecting much. But I ended up really enjoying it. It's an underrated film that was unjustly swept under the rug. |

the director of this has completed filming it actually, though it has turned into more of a prequel to the original idea, it is now called "Frankenstein's Army"

Oh yeah…totally forgot about Frankenstein’s Army…at least it has the same look and aesthetic as Worst Case Scenario, even though it’s different story wise. Cool.
Man, just the idea of Nazi experiments coming back to life,… is absolutely horrific…let alone what was in that trailer. WCS needs to be made. |

I find it absolutely devastating that a genre involving such a brilliant idea as resurrected Nazi soldiers, has conjured up so many awful movies. Shock Waves is easily the best in that bunch...film-making wise, story wise, just everything. Dead Snow and Outpost are OK flicks, still nothing compared to Shock Waves…the rest are just,…Good Lord. I think the worst Nazi zombie flick in that poll list is either Zombie Lake or Horrors of War….haven’t seen the sequel to Outpost yet.
I have the Oasis of the Zombies BD waiting for me at home…I’ll probably check that out tonight since I’m in the mood for some Undead SS. I haven’t seen it in a while, but I don’t remember it being anything stellar. |

Shock Waves definitely.
Does Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge really qualify though? I love the film, but it's stretching for Nazi Zombies.

SHOCK WAVES, a low budget gem with some great imagery and fun turns by genre icons Peter Cushing and John Carradine.Love it.

Shock Waves. Didn't even have to read the rest of the list. Dripping with creepy atmosphere and with the talent of the great Peter Cushing. Not even close.
