It's not too surprising though. It wasn't on the UK Blu-ray remaster release either, which sounds like the same exact disc content.

Lazy bastards! They re-release this movie but still don't include all the missing DVD extras, including the 1 hour documentary "Other Voices" and the Cameron commentary on the deleted scenes.

It's virtually guaranteed they'll re-release the film as a 30th Anniversary edition sometime in 2014. Perhaps by then we'll get a more definitive Blu-ray edition.

I watched the new Terminator BD a couple of days ago. …yeah, this is definitely the best this film has ever (will ever?) look. I really didn’t think it was possible for the film to look that much better than the previous release, but the differences are rather immense and impressive to say the least. Nice detail, and the scene at the TechNoir looks beautiful…and almost “3Dish” when the camera goes slow-mo, as it moves through the crowd of people dancing.
Nice upgrade, looks I have a new Frisbee now. I also think any sort of film making class should make it mandatory to watch The Terminator…the movie is text book film-making genius. |

That's why you have to keep the old versions too. I'm getting in the habit of taking the DVDs and putting them in a sleeve and sticking them in the Blu-Ray case. It's not like the DVD is worth anything and I like having a DVD version of films I like, especially if there are extras not on the blu.
