I really enjoyed your writing style as well. You don't delve into the plot too much, but give a highlight of the scenes that are going to make me want to watch it. For movies like this that don't have much of a unique story, I think this is a great way to go about it as it makes me interested in checking it out.

This release has been cancelled, due to the rights holders not actually holding the rights to Savage Water. However, director Paul Kener got into contact with the company and has original elements, so this may come out after all, better than originally!

"Well, it's time for some bad news...
We've just learned that the source from which we licensed SAVAGE WATER did not have proper rights to it. However, in a weird mixed blessing sort of way, we are finally in touch with director Paul Kener. Paul has shared with us his plans for the film and they're quite exciting. However, releasing it in its current form is not what Paul wants and obviously we're going to honor his wishes. So, with that said, the disc has been cancelled and everyone who purchased off the VS site will be receiving a FULL REFUND by the end of the week.
It sucks for now but the silver lining is that Paul fully intends to get the film out there, but sourced from the negative, which he thankfully still has.
This is hardly the last the world will here of SAVAGE WATER!"

Oh man, that sucks for these guys. I only spoke to one of the guys briefly when I emailed them to get review copies, but he seemed like a really good dude. Hopefully they'll actually get something going with the director and get both movies put back out soon. At least pair up Death By Invitation with a future release until Savage Water gets figured out. I wonder if they'll have to try and get review copies back from the reviewers.

Definitely bad news to hear about the canceled release -- I imagine paying for all the transfer, authoring and replication costs only to have to drop the title is not an easy bill for a new company to recoup!

In good news, they mentioned on Facebook that they'll be issuing DEATH BY INVITATION with another title. (Now I just need to get one of these leaked copies!)

I just got a shipping notice from DVD Planet saying that the Savage Water double feature shipped with my other 3/12 pre-orders. Even though DVD Planet no longer lists the film available its sister site Deep Discount does. So for those who really want this it may be worth trying to order via DD since someone didn't get the cancellation memo.
