Fan-created Horror Music Videos

Any others on here have youtube channels and make fan-created horror music videos? I have seen some good ones and of course, some not so good ones. I've made a few - I think they've turned out ok. Anyway, would be curious to see other's videos.

Love the quality of the clips used. The brighter clips look so much like how I remember watching VHS used to feel. (Sadly, that's an irreplaceable experience.) Great choice of music too: love Peaches. Love Ladytron. And... your picks of Argento's (my favorite director) absolutely get my highest approval.

Thank you! I'm looking forward to the new Peaches album.

The worst is when you pick a song and spend time arranging the clips and then go to upload it and YouTube won't allow you to post it because of a copyright. The Gaga video was originally suppose to be You'll Dance to Anything by the Dead Milkmen. But Gaga made a good replacement when that didn't pan out.

I think Vimeo is less freaky about Copyright. I know I uploaded some stuff over there when YouTube and DailyMotion both fucked me over on my Brady Bunch Movie and Uncle Buck videos.

Uh... is there a new Peaches album coming out? I figured there would be one...eventually. But I keep looking for signs or news or whatnot and... nothing.

Yeah, she put out that Burst single recently and said she was working on a new album.

I didn't create this and it's off-topic but this fan video of Grey Gardens set to a Beach House song I find quite lovely.

There was a cool video with Static-X's "Push It" amongst some of the best slasher kills a few years back. I remember it being extremely well edited but has since disappeared. Probably due to copyright infringement.

I don't know who Beach House is but I'll check it out.

This one's mine (slideshow, really, but it took me a long time to get all the pics):

I wanted to do a sequel but I can't think of a song about horror except for "Thriller" and "Nature Trail to Hell" and there's already a good video using the latter song.

Here's the first few minutes (the best part, imo...) of The Colors of Darkness by Speedy, a Euro-horror and giallo tribute. Video and audio quality kind of sucks and I don't think that you can actually buy the full "DVD" (it's a DVD-R...) anymore.

Beach House reminds me kinda of Cocteau Twins. It definitely has an ethereal, dreamy, chill vibe to it.

I liked your video! I think you had your stills at the perfect speed. Usually still videos I find boring because the poster either keeps the image up too long or the quality of photos drastically varies. Yours was nicely done though. I never heard of that song either but maybe a good follow-up song would be something by Thrill Kill Kult.

Very cool! I loved the first half - great pacing of images with the music. When the creator started to speed up the clips towards the end, some of them looked kinda funny though. Like the the first student killed in Suspiria - she kinda looks like she's being attacked by a bee when she's motioning for the killer to get away.

Thanks, I'll look into them (all I know is "Sex on Wheelz"- which I love).

I've ran across a few over the years. The following were made by the same editor:

Free Energy (dancing in horror movies)

HELL (Nightmare On Elm St. Tribute)

Hunger (Texas Chainsaw Massacre Tribute)

Abuse (horror tribute)

Muck (horror tribute)

Fear (horror tribute)
