Any of you Facebook followers heard any news regarding Unholy Rollers yet? I remember hearing Cliff mention they acquired the title, but that’s about it. I am fearing this one may end up on one of their 4-pack movie DVDs…I’m really hoping for a blu ray with this one.

I doubt it will as MGM did a brand new HD master of it. I guess it will come later this year or early in 2014.

Cliff don't post anymore at blu-ray.com so we get less news, I guess it can be annoying to read non-sense request and useless critics everyday. This isn't the only movie that was announced that we get no news about, so I'm not really that frighten yet.

"Brand new HD transfer of DAY OF THE DEAD...happening now!

More details on this 2013 Collector's Edition release will be revealed later on in the year."

Schizoid announced!:
http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=10832

"Scream Factory, the horror-thriller offshoot of independent film distributor Shout Factory, has confirmed that it is preparing a Blu-ray release of David Paulsen's Schizoid (1980), starring Klaus Kinski, Donna Wilkes, Marianna Hill, Christopher Lloyd, and Flo Lawrence. The release is expected to be available for purchase in the Summer.

Julie is an advice columnist for the city newspaper who begins to receive anonymous notes threatening murder and worse. At about the same time, female members of the group therapy session she attends are being stabbed, one by one, by an unknown assailant. Is there a connection? If so, why do the notes talk about murder with a gun, while the murder victims are being stabbed? At first, the police, her ex-husband, her therapist and her friends all assure her that the notes are probably unrelated, and hoax; but with time, it becomes apparent that someone close to her is responsible."

The fucker who said: "I love Scream Factory and have most of their releases but I think that they should stop titles like this and focus on the classics instead of weakening the great track record they have so far."

...should be shot. Seriously. WTF? Scream is the greatest for releasing the non-classics. Goddamn...

They're good with doing that. Rumors and actual confirmation are the same thing at Blu-ray.com half the time.

In other news... there's no official announcement yet, but Amazon has a listing (July 2nd release date) for The Kentucky Fried Movie on Blu-ray, being released by Shout.

Cover art...

The old Anchor Bay DVD looked pretty rough, so if the transfer's improved at all on the Blu, this'll be a day-one purchase for sure.

Not only that, but The Producers (1968) Collector's Edition will be released the same day!:

I know. I thought MGM would release this title by themselves too. Still, great news!
