Just watched Amityville 3D again yesterday after quite some time. It has to be one of the worst in the franchise. Hardly anything happens that makes you want to sit down and watch this again. I'd put it right down there with Amityville Curse.

I also watched Amityville Dollhouse a few days ago and thought it was pretty good. For a DTV release it had some great special effects. Definitely better than what I remember it being.

Really looking forward to this disc. I have it pre-ordered from Best Buy.
I got a copy of this to review actually. I saw it way back in 2008 but I didn't remember much about it, so it was fun to revisit it. Ingrid Bolsų Berdal is great, she is incredibly believable when she's acting frightened. She really seems terrified. The scene with Jannicke seeing her friend's bodies and realizing the killer's body is also there is really amazing. A bit illogical because a nurse wouldn't show her the mangled corpses of her friends like that, still a well done scene though.

Completely unrelated to Cold Prey, I also watched The Nest, which I loved. I'd never seen it before, but I really had a lot fun with it. Not a great movie, or even a good one really, but so entertaining.

I put reviews of Nest and Vampire Lovers on my site, if anyone is interested.

Do you think other Amityville sequels such as 4, 1992, and Dollhouse will eventually come to blu-ray as well? Curse still hasn't been released on DVD in region 1 yet.

No idea. If a set of those releases you mentioned were to come out on blu I'd buy them. They're the better of the DTV sequels from this franchise.

I know Amityville Curse has been out for years on dvd here in Aus. I don't think it's easy to find anymore, at least in retail stores.

Are you sure the Norwegian Blu-ray for Cold prey 2 has English subs for the main feature? I know the first film does on the Norwegian Blu-ray, but I didn't think the sequel did.

Scream posted Slasher Design's artwork for The Fog today...

Now it's time to play "Find the Stolen Original Artwork". Get to hunting.

What is with the huge moon in the back? It's okay, but there's something off about it, I just don't get that The Fog vibe from it. Maybe it is the colours? And I like Scream's covers, but what is with EVERy single one having floating heads. It was okay at first, but it's getting a little old now.

I thought wow, that looks great. But where is Jaime Lee Curtis? Oh well, it's better than anything I could do.

Isn't that Jamie on the left? Maybe some of the faces are a little wonky...maybe evidence that this could be an original?

I thought it was Jamie on the left too, but if it is it's not the greatest depiction of her.

I'm not a big fan of it to be honest. The thing I always found intriguing about The Fog before actually watching it was "what was in the fog"? Monsters? Ghosts? Zombies? Aliens? I had zero idea until it was revealed in the movie and this artwork ruins that mystery.

That moon, the floating heads, and the colors don“t work for me.
They should have put the ghostship in the background, and used more fog and blue light glowing through it. The lower part with the pirates looks okey, but still...

Glad the original artwork is on the flipside.
