Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion ~ Luciano Ercoli by Camera Obscura

I just read this over at AVManiacs:
Quote:
Announced today:
Le foto proibite di una signora per bene (Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion) (IGCC #9)

Great cover, but since many of you already have this title from Blue Underground, I doubt it will sell that many. Especially since CO's release aren't that cheap. Not even over here in Europe.

Still I'm happy to buy this again. Ercoli proved to be a solid director. And since the BU release is from 2006, this might be quite an upgrade.

And this (in German):
Quote:
FRAUEN BIS ZUM WAHNSINN GEQULT (Luciano Ercoli, 1970, IGCC Nr. 9)

I was so disappointed when I saw this last night, the only reason I can see to buy this would be to not have gaps in my Camera Obscura collection. You know what would be quite an upgrade to the Blue Underground DVD? A BD...

With Strip Nude hitting BD, I'm pretty sure Forbidden photo's will come as well. As long as they still have the rights ofcourse.

It'll probably play better in Italian, so here's hoping they provide Italian language with subs.

Earlier they confirmed about the Italian audio being on the disc but they haven't said anything about subs.

From Camera Obscura:
Quote:
Well, our releases actually aren't that expensive. It's a normal price in Germany for a high-quality indie-release. The problem is the import, of course, but we don't have control over that.

We know that many of you have the Blue Underground disc, but the film has never been released in Germany and is a favorite of ours. Plus, we're planning for a bunch of great extras to make the release really interesting.

And no worries, the next title will be a world premiere again...

Pity Mr. Camera Obscura doesn't post here anymore.

I have been in doubt buying this, but I will add this to the collection anyway soon. Last week I watched the BU release again and although it isn't top tier Giallo, it's still very entertaining. Looking forward to watching it in Italian

Ercoli's definitely underrated, it's been great that some of his giallo have been released here, be it by Blue Underground or NoShame (RIP). Camera Obscura always puts out a good package, definitely worthy of your support!

Are CO's releases usually region locked or region free?

Just about all of them are Region 2, including this one.

Another excellent disc from Camera Obscura. Here are my thoughts on their DVD release for Spirits of Death.
