Several new titles announced for August 6th, most notably Lucas and Silver Streak!

Also, The Pick-Up Artist, Stuck On You, and Wing Commander.

I'm in for Silver Streak.

...though this is Anchor Bay, so the chances of not even getting a menu are quite good.

^ True. But I think the DVDs of both Lucas and Silver Streak are barebones, and for some strange reason I never ended up buying them. So I'll picking these up for the movie alone.

Yeah but that was (hopefully) a one time thing.

Though again, would love to see Freaked by Halloween.

I would love to see Freaked done by another company. Perhaps Scream Factory, hint hint.

The DVD is packed with extras, and I'd like to be able to sell it off once it hits blu-ray. It'd probably lose the extras if Anchor Bay did a blu-ray.

Fox needs to release Omen IV the Awakening on blu-ray. It would be amazing to see the psychic fair on fire in HD.

One time? They've done it multiple times.

I'd love to see Freaked get released by a solid company with a consistent track record...like Shout Factory.

And Anchor Bay fails yet again:

No menu, no extras.

This studio is poop. The Anchor Bay I once knew is long dead now.

And this is the company that still holds the rights to Halloween. Fuck. They need to just let Halloween and Phantasm go and just fade into obscurity already.

Jumpin' Jack Flash Blu-ray review: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Jumpin.../43849/#Review

No Menu. No Extras. I think the fate of the future releases can now be foretold...

Odd that their sub-licensed Fox titles are the only ones with no menus.

I just ordered Airheads for around $9 new through a third party vendor on Amazon. After receiving the notification that it shipped, I saw that they used DHL. I'm hoping to get it by September.

The review for Bedazzled is the same. I guess they figure "Hey, you guys are lucky to be getting anything at all."

Yeah, they just don't give a shit.

They are pretty much just slapping them on a disc and that's it. Even Mill Creek beats them with their licensed Blu-ray releases!
