Thought of MorallySound when I heard the news. Was a true titan of world horror. Will be missed, he brought a craziness to cinema that's long since been missing. I always liked his VENUS IN FURS. Rest in peace you little pervert!!!

I've enjoyed most of the Franco films I have seen. As for those I did not like, none were easily forgotten. Currently I own around two dozen Franco dvds, mostly from his horror films. Vampyros Lesbos, A Virgin Among the Living Dead, Venus in Furs, Ilsa the Wicked Warden, and Female Vampire are probably my favorites. Rest in peace.

Terrible news!! I wanted to meet him so bad, but sadly now i never will. I remember many, many years ago, a friend asked if I liked Franco movies and I replied "no". his response was. "dont worry, you will". He was right. Once you discover the wild world of Jess Franco, it's easy to become obsessed. I currently own more than 40 movies on DVD, and tonight I'll break one or 2 out in tribute. RIP Jess Franco.

Sad that another great director has passed on. His movies were great and I own many of them. He will be missed.

This is very sad news. I'll be diving in to some Franco films this week. At least we bave the ~14 Franco films announced from Redemption Films coming this hear as a rememberance (hopefully they got some great interviews/commentaries before this development).

R.I.P.

Sad day indeed. Such a great filmmaker. Loved his brazen nature, such a daring visionary. I'll have to watch some of my favorites this weekend. Sure he made some turds but even his lesser films always offered something different, something unique that his peers couldn't offer.
