I did the same thing Yea those pictures a good examples. It's easier to see in those ones.

I received Town in the mail yesterday - looking forward to watching it and The Evictors.

It seems with a commentary, several bonus features and a bonus feature film - they could have easily put this under their collector's edition banner. I wonder why they decided not to.

I actually haven't seen The Burning.

I just watched The Evictors for the first time last night, and I think I actually liked it more than Town. Not as iconic, I suppose, but I thought it generated more scares than Town did. The flashback scene with the wife in the shed was really creepy. The resolution/explanation of the villain is pretty simple, and fairly easy to see coming, but the movie really held me. Perhaps because of the three leads. Of course, Town was no slouch either, so it's a package I'm pretty happy to have.

I agree, Dave - Evictors is more intensely frightening than Town. While Evictors is a standard but well-done woman-in-peril flick, Town catalogues a series of murders, casting the criminal investigators, not the victims, as protagonists. That said, I enjoyed both of them very much. I only wish they'd done Evictors on blu rather than as a bonus DVD feature.

I've been debating getting this for awhile, seems like a foregone conclusion now.

Town is currently $12.19 on Amazon. I got it on release day and still haven't opened it.

Guess I'm lucky as I picked up a copy at the $12.19 price earlier today.

Before it went up in price I snagged Town and the Incredible Melting Man for 25 and change. Great deal!
