Hmm, Vampire Hookers? Did Code Red lose the rights to that or something? They just released it on DVD not all that long ago.

Not sure what the rights situation is, but Vinegar Syndrome did an HD transfer from the original interpositive, whereas I believe Code Red's disc was from a 35mm release print. The screengrabs they have posted at their website look pretty damn good:

(I didn't hotlink because of size.)

I wasn't a fan of it... But will probably be getting that double-bill anyway because Fighting Mad looks pretty fun.

Vampire Hookers is a rather boring film but John Carradine is in it if you're a fan.

I liked it. It's just fun and cheesy 70's nonsense. But if you're expecting horror, you'll be disappointed...it's much more of a comedy with light horror elements.

Trailer for Vampire Hookers makes the movie look like a hoot. Um, but why are all the vampires attacking people with wooden stakes?

The idea of Vampire Hookers seems wild. But that trailer is cheesy. It even has a "Vampire Hookers" song!
