There is some overlap, Knightriders, House of Usher and Lifeforce in particular. But I haven't seen Shout! announce any of the other recent releases that Arrow is putting out in the UK.

You are correct; there are no overlapping Shout Factory titles at this time; I misunderstood a post on blu-ray.com.

I don't think Arrow Video do region free discs anymore. This will 99% be guaranteed Region B locked unfortunately.

I love this movie so will upgrade to Blu. Just out of interest is the OOP Anchor Bay DVD worth alot on Ebay or Amazon? Of course I wont be needing this anymore if the Arrow BD is good.

I don't think so. Universal re-released it a few years ago and that took down the price of what the Anchor Bay disc was going for significantly.

Oh well. Will still stick it on Ebay but wont expect alot. I can remember this going for mega bucks at one point and being so glad I had bought it years before cheap. Yes come to think of it The Car was released in the UK on a Universal DVD and a quick look on Amazon shows you can pick this up for a couple of pounds.

Nice, it looks like a very solid release. I can't wait for my pre-order to ship!

Pre-order price on Amazon.co.uk down to 11.79 with free p&p if you select the slower delivery rate(which is still always quick). Lowest I have seen. up to now.
