Whoa, a VP interview from "87 - should be interesting. Does it cover Monster Club? Nevertheless, these are fine extras. Can't wait

Scorpion are also releasing Harlequin (a.k.a. Dark Forces) on Blu-ray, which has always been a personal favorite of mine:

It'll be released sometime in late October. It should be a nice upgrade from the old Elite & Synapse DVD releases.

I will definitely be upgrading my old Pathfinder dvd release of The Monster Club. Between Scream Factory's collection and this from Scorpion, it's going to be a great Halloween for Vincent Price fans!

Grizzly & Animals were slated for Nov/Dec, Think Walter mentioned they were bumped to 2014 now.

I really want a decent copy of Grizzly, that would be a day one purchase for me.
Day Of The Animals I'm a bit lukewarm on. Nevertheless, it's great all this stuff is coming out.

Also, for what it's worth, Scorpion mentioned on the blu-ray.com forums that they went back and spruced up the transfer for House On Sorority Row to prep it for a hi-def release.

It was also mentioned that they are considering doing a limited "Twilight-Time" style release for it.

Shit! I knew I should have waited. I finally pulled the trigger on SAVAGE STREETS so I'm guessing the blu-ray for that will be annouced soon.

For some strange reason, Code Red has the blu-ray rights to Savage Streets and Final Exam. Scorpion can only release them on DVD.

An update on The Monster Club cover art via Scorpion on Facebook (complete with new cover):

"Due to unforeseeable issues, the licensor and I decided to drop the original art I chose for the front art, and instead go with what was going to be the alternate reverse art for MONSTER CLUB. In hindsight, I feel this one is much better, for it has nice comical full face art of Vincent Price, as the other one obscured his iconic look. Plus, this was the one that many are familiar with from the old VHS days.

The street date is still the same, as October is a great time for all these Price films finally reaching BluRay, including our friends at Shout Factory releasing their Vincent Price collection. So you know the master of horror is probably smiling in another life with all the love and care his legacy is being treated by all of us."
