The Fly (1958), Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 and Joy Ride coming to Blu-Ray 09/10/2013

Amazon.ca preorder for The Fly (1958).

Amazon.ca preorder for Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2.

Amazon.ca preorder for Joy Ride.

Much like last year's releases for Jeepers Creepers, Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, I suspect these will go up for preorder on amazon.com in a week or two.

The Fly and Joyride are Great films - I see they're now given the "scratchy-scratchy" look to make them look more current.

A little too Repulsion (or maybe a lot), but I adore it.

And the Fox logo. Has that been a thing on classic releases / older film covers?

Supposedly none of the extras from Jeepers Creepers 2 have been carried over. Which is a shame, because the DVD was loaded with extras, including a couple of great (and lengthy) behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Will definitely NOT be buying this. Already upgraded the first Jeepers Creepers to blu-ray last fall.

I wonder how improved the picture quality is on Jeepers Creepers 2 - I had actually been thinking of getting the special edition dvd to go along with my blu ray copy of the first movie- hate to buy the double feature when I have the first one already.

And the dvd you can get dirt cheap and does have several special features on it which reading this thread sounds like the blu ray doesn't have. If the dvd upconverted isnt a big difference from the blu release I may just go ahead and get the dvd so I have both movies- but if the blu is a big improvement Ill probably pick up the double feature - bluray.com gave it a pretty solid review video wise - but Ill wait for a few more reviews to come in
