For me, the best of the year is split between Corman and Castle. 13 Ghosts obviously doesn't (much) have a serious bone in its body and is a lot of fun if the kid doesn't annoy you. It took me awhile to warm up to Usher but the ending is fantastic. Can't really decide which is the better.

Black Sunday was a huge disappointment. As was Peeping Tom, though I voted for it. I was expecting something half as intense as the trailer. Something that kept the suspense up. But it's a full-on character study. At least, the dialogue does just about all the talking. Sort of like Cat People. I wanted to be afraid of the killer, not what might be in his mind. Eyes Without a Face was just dull. I could stand a re-watch though.

I need to see Psycho again, badly, and I started but didn't finish Village of the Damned. Which I've owned for about 8 years. (Shame... shame...)

Aw man, I just realized that City of the Dead is Horror Hotel. I totally would have voted for that, I love that movie.
