I think it was mentioned here before that the Scream Factory releases that come with a slipcover end up being repressed but without the slipcover. So even if they are in print for a while, I prefer to get them early so I can get them with a slipcover.

Scream Factory slipcovers are not limited and are still being printed. The scarcity of Scream Factory slipcovers is completely artificial. If an order arrives without the slipcover it was either removed because it's company policy (i.e. Barnes & Noble), because it was damaged or because some knob simply took it for themselves.

This fella recently sold two Halloween II slipcovers and then three more. It's a safe bet that the five "naked" copies of Halloween II are on their way back to the retailer for a full refund. That is, if they ever left the warehouse in the first place. Since the UPC code is on the sleeve insert, not the slipcover, and the factory seal is unbroken the item can still be sold as new.

Glad to hear that! I like having Scream's new artwork on the slipcover, while reversing the in-case cover for the original old-school art. Best of both worlds.

Got Scanners II / III today, but it sounds like both discs are rattling around inside the case. Back to Amazon it goes...

Kind of a bummer when you have release date delivery and can't use your item on the release date.

Have you actually checked if they worked before sending them back?
