It's sad that those will be the only decent transfers we'll ever get to see. Once they're taken down, it's back under the Echo Bridge.

And I bleed opinions that people agree with, once you actually slice me open. I'm just overly cynical about new releases. Justifiably.
Mill Creek, not Echo Bridge, is the company handling most of the Ernest films through a distribution deal they have with Disney.

Disney sold Miramax to Filmyard Holdings, LLC nearly three years ago. This includes all of the older (pre-October 2005) Dimension Films titles.

Newer (October 2005 - Present) Dimension Films titles belong to The Weinstein Company since the Weinstein brothers were able to keep the name after they left Disney.

Wonder if their transfers are any better than EB's.

Because... one of these same budget companies, I believe, also released That 70's Show on Blu-Ray.

They are better then Echo Bridge, but only slightly. Most of there discs are usually barebones.

Ernest Scared Stupid looks pretty good on Blu though, the best I have ever seen it at least.

I've heard all about Lionsgate getting saddled with awful prints but if this is the case with Echo Bridge as well... people really do need to Not Buy these releases. The only way to send a clear message to Miramax / Disney / whoever.
