Ahhhh this has Lawrence Monoson from Friday 13th final chapter. Might have to buy this just to watch him he rocks! That's a shame he made little to hardly not that many films in the 80's.

He did a few episodes of ER in the late 90s (may have been early 2000s) where he played a vicious serial killer. I can almost believe it's his character from Last American Virgin as a grownup.

I watched my copy earlier tonight, and I gotta agree. My only real complaint with the release would be with the transfer. Arrow just messed too much with the contrast/brightness, and the colors do often look quite desaturated. It's "pasty" looking much of the time. The detail is certainly better than the old DVD, but I wouldn't exactly call the colors an improvement. The HD transfer could certainly be improved upon...

But the extra features interviews are great. Lawrence Monoson looks and sounds nothing like he did when he was younger.

Indeed! I watched it some days ago, the Arrow release that is. I recalled when I saw it long ago in local TV and how back then I thought it was gonna end in a 'nice way' as some other movies but it didn't to my surprise.

A very different ending to a 'sex comedy', kinda shocking. Love this one! Love this kind of american cinema. They just don't show fiction but reality sometimes and depending. A movie to remember.

Yeah I totally agree. The whole film looked faded and washed out. They definitely used a dated master.

That being said I loved the film. Grabbed it during Arrow's sale, had never seen the film before. Reminded me a bit of Fast Times, but damn this movie is bleak. Did not see that coming. Quite a sobering look at the pain of growing up.
