I wonder if netflix will eventually get this so I can watch it? I don't want to burn money on something I'll just watch once.

There's a 7 hour commentary as well, so you can watch it twice!

All you Jeff Katz fans out there, get a load of this garbage:

Jeff Katz to "reboot" Sleepaway Camp franchise.

Have to completely agree with the Jeff Katz comments. I finally got around to seeing this this past weekend. Being a "know it all fan" doesn't belong on the crystal lake memories!

It was especially frustrating to see the Extended Interviews disc, where he should have belonged in the first place. It's annoying that they gave him so much air time while stories from legit people who were actually involved with the films ended up on the cutting room floor.

Yeah he really made me irk and grind my teeth a bit. I'll never understand why horror fans are suddenly on movie interviews.

Katz deserved to be on the FvJ segment, as he helped get it off the ground finally, but they should have cut him out of the rest of the segments. I couldn't care less about what he had to say on those parts.

The BD/DVD combo is now available at Walmart for $24.99. It's kind of surreal to see something like this for sale in a mainstream, lowest-common-denominator place like Walmart.

I haven't watched my copy yet, but that bonus disc better be worth the extra $20 I paid to get it directly from the website.
