88 films are also releasing 'bloodsucking freaks', on Blu in April, not a fan of the film, but not one I ever thought would get released in the UK, let alone on Blu.

That new cover is horrible, but I'll just flip it. It will have the original artwork on the reverse side like all 88 Films releases.

Who the hell are those kids? They certainly weren't in the film!

The girl on the cover at least looks like she's from the early 80's with that haircut , even though she's not in the film

"Italian" artwork it looks like... still horrible! I still can't even guess why they chose it.

Just discovered that this did get a theatrical release in June of 1986 here near philly. It uses the same artwork for the ad, interesting thing is, that this movie was shot in summer of 1980 yet by the time of this 86 release, it had to look somewhat dated by then. Its very late 70's looking. Wonder if anyone else noticed that. Plus it only lasted one week only.

Will wait and see what the transfer and features are like before I take the plunge. Otherwise, my Severin Films DVD will do just fine as I don't watch it too often.
