These teases are great and all, but I kind of wish Don May would stop...it's making the wait for a release date excruciating.

Would I'd be out of line if I said I hope this is going to be a stealbook? HA!

That's only be an issue if it was a "limited bullshit edition" steelbook costing lots of $$$. Plus I don't see why they couldn't release both steelbooks and standard editions like Arrow does.

I hope future steelbooks from Synapse wont be as expensive as the "Demons" discs.
Steelbooks from other companies are dirt cheap in comparison.

I do fear that "Tenebre" and "Suspiria" will end up as expensive Steelbooks though.

That's my fear to. I really hope the backlash from the Demons release will cause them to steer clear of that route though.

Haha I always noticed it. It's visible on the Echo Bridge DVD. But holy shit these screen caps look glorious. Look at the fucking color! This and Sleepaway Camp are my 2 most anticipated titles.

The Vaseline haze is still prevalent, though. I suppose that's how the film was shot and nothing can be done about it. Maybe Brian DePalma was the cinematographer

The Vaseline is what makes Prom Night Prom Night. I wouldn't want to watch it any other way. It'd ruin it without.

I think the soft focus works really well for the disco scenes as it adds a magical aura to all those glittering lights (ahhh the late 70s/early 80s!!), but it just seems like a technical flub in the rest of the film.

I actually do not own a lot from Synapse as they generally do not license the titles I've been interested in but after their work on Demons and from what we've seen on this and Curtains - I hope they get a lot more of my genre faves. The work they put in their releases is wonderful!
