First few months to a year on Blu-ray it was like that but we've passed that now. Sony learned that lesson most of all and went from being one of the worst to one of the best. There's still a bit of learning curve when companies enter HD for the first time but so far they've learned fairly quickly.

I would add Evil Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre to the list. Both look great for being shot on 16mm, Evil Dead especially!
