I can tell from the cover that it's Echo Bridge. The layout and fonts are consistent with their legions of other multi-packs.

No, it's Image: http://www.image-entertainment.com/p...4-020045490004

I originally thought it was EB too, looks like they just ripped off EB's style...

I can say for sure now that the Code Red DVD of Night of the Demon looks (and sounds) much better than the version in this set...which is obviously just a VHS transfer.

I'm fine with it i'm not going to blow $30+ on code red. Still those who want a better version will obviously buy code reds.

Bill said he's going to repress the disc soon, so it should be less in the near future.

I still think Bill has tons of discs, he just sells them under the Amazon marketplace at the cheapest OOP price to make more money. His username is usually the cheapest under every Code Red title, and he's about 10 dollars cheaper than the other OOP new prices.

I would really like a decent, cleaned up release of this. But I wonder if the materials still exist? Is Embryo in the public domain? Cause it has seen some practically unwatchable releases. The audio on mine (from Pegasus, I think) is extremely poor, with a persistent hiss drowning out everything. And you'd think this one had a minor cult following, like It's Alive. I enjoyed it, even if that enjoyment was impaired by the audio and video quality.

It's just as bad on this DVD set, virtually unwatchable quality. It's like a 10th generation EP VHS tape.

I'm out on both counts. I already have a VHS rip that looks half decent, so why bother? This film has always looked like shit, from the time I first rented the VHS many moons ago, even on blu-ray I would not expect anything stellar in terms of quality.
If I read reviews of an amazing transfer showing up down the line-maybe-but really NOTD was the only film to interest me in this set.
Nice, unique, brutal take on Sasquatch-shit a/v quality.
