Yes, with the Daimajin Trilogy coming from the same company later this month. Hopefully they will continue and put out the interesting Yokai Monsters Trilogy as well.

Gamera is finally getting his due on video here in the States. The entire Showa series (often maligned for being mostly kiddie flicks) are available uncut and subbed on DVD from Shout! Factory. They even put out a boxed set of the MST3K versions. The Heisei trilogy is on BD from Mill Creek, and the technical problems with Part 3 have finally been ironed out. Gamera The Brave, an excellent combination of the kid-friendly Showa series with the technical excellence of the Heisei films, is on DVD and coming soon on BD from Media Blasters.

I've never seen any Godzilla movies before (apart from the American remake which I can't remember) and wanted to know which films were worth watching? What are the best ones I should try and get a hold of?

Godzilla vs. Megaguirus

Very few outright stunk, except Godzilla's Revenge (All Monsters Attack). That one was a steaming pile of Gigan crap.

Can't go wrong with the original.

That's true. Amazon has got it for a decent price but it's not sold directly through them. This wouldn't normally be an issue but I can't get shipping to Australia

You should check out Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. its a pretty good entry from the early series.

that, and obviously the original.

Amazon's page defaults to the lowest price for Amazon fulfillment, in this case an item sold by Warehouse Deals for $23.99 but shipped by Amazon. Just be aware that the disc is Region A locked.

For some reason it keeps telling me it can't ship to my destination when I try to go through checkout

I can't say I've ever ordered anything on Amazon to be shipped to Australia before, but I wouldn't think this would be an issue. Amazon does have a copy off to the right side of the page under "More Buying Choices" that is shipped and sold directly, but it's listed at $28.99.

Yea I've never had the issue buying films directly from Amazon. I was quite surprised when the message popped up. At that other price I assume I'm better off looking else where to get this.
