Shock Waves let me down, actually. I definitely felt it had some great atmosphere for awhile. But, after they get off the ship, it loses all sense of fear and dread. I felt nothing. I just kept checking my watch. And wondering when something was going to happen. Then, something did happen and I went: "that's it"? It felt like someone erasing a line on a tally sheet. Nothing deeper, more intense, or fiery than that was drummed up by the movie. I couldn't even tell what the movie was about. Just people being picked off (very late) on a deserted island?
Boring.

Does that mean you voted for Shock Waves or no?
P.S. is there a film that you do enjoy? Any film at all? Just name one…as I am thoroughly convinced that you hate every film ever made. |
