Its a legit version of a Savage Streets 1-sheet....not the most attractive poster around, but its poster art none-the-less.
I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy this...even though I own the BCI, AWE, and Arrow releases. This new transfer has me intrigued. Plus Savage Streets is one of my all time favs. +1 for a goddamn BD already. |

All new HD transfer and no blu-ray? Scorpion really needs to start jumping on the blu ray bandwagon. If other studios like Synapse can release obscure titles on blu-ray then so can Scorpion.
Love this movie tho, glad to see its gonna be in print again. ~Matt

At the end of the day, It doesnīt pay to have a maniac for a brother. It would be a slap in the face if this release sells good, on the contrary of what Maniac Bill has predicted. Maybe if Manic Bill changes his banner from "Maria B-Movie" to "Code Redīs Maniac Bill" he might actually sells more titles of upcoming movies...

That would be sweet if Scorpion decided to test the waters, and release Savage Streets as their first blu-ray. You would think a Savage Streets BD could sell as many copies (if not more) as The Dorm that Dripped Blood or The Nesting blu-rays.

Well I couldn't resist.....my copy was sent to me today. Looking forward to seeing if it is the "night and day" difference I've read online. And the uncencored commentary??? one more "fuck" from Steinmann perhaps?
Didn't catch if there were any extra features besides.... But love for this movie makes me blind and willing to offer up my credit cards as sacrifice again

didn't notice a HUGE difference between the BCI / AWE release and this new one from scorpion. Both looked ok to be, and about as good as you could expect. On the pluss side scorpion had an interview or two that were missing from all other relases

I think the differences between BCI/AWE and Scorpion are night and day. That said, I'm holding out a bit longer to see if gets a BD release.

Kind of related, but I found the Savage Streets soundtrack on vinyl at a local record store. Anybody know if it's worth anything? I'll probably buy it anyway, I think it was under $8.
