Is this region A locked? I know you cant always go by what DVDBeaver say and some Olive releases have been region free.

got my shipping notice from DDD with the burning, hoped since they were released so far apart they would ship seperatly , but no. So I'll get raped in customs for these two. Let's hope they're worth it

Mine just says "backordered" - WTF!
It's weird too, when I look at my DDD order status Town that Dreaded Sundown and The Burning aren't even listed among the other Blu's I bought, but the full sale price is reflected. I double checked my email and they both are there, so I think their system is f'd up again.

Just watched this yesterday. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit but thought, for a horror movie, it was a little overlit and too bright in spots. Jeff Burr comments negatively about the special effects and laments the use of early CGI. No one is more against CGI than I am but I saw nothing cringe-worthy or cheap about the EFX and thought they looked very good. Overall, a very nice release from Olive.
