Jeremy's Top Ten 2012
This has been the first October Madness where I have been unable to be a wholehearted participant, and it makes me sad to look back on previous years where I’ve been able to write scores of reviews on horror films both greatly admired and greatly unknown. But for the foreseeable future time is extremely limited in my life, and even something so simple as a top ten list becomes difficult to squeeze in, which is why this one is coming in just under the wire

But for the foreseeable future time is extremely limited in my life, and even something so simple as a top ten list becomes difficult to squeeze in, which is why this one is coming in just under the wire with but a few days to spare. Unlike last year I have not provided a theme for the list. These are all just movies (or in one case a TV series) that I have found new or continuing enjoyment in, some of them well known, others not so well known, that I wanted to give mention to this Halloween season. Enjoy!

Great list! A few yet I need to catch up on (Monsters Crash the Pyjama Party was within arms reach for years at a Mom n' Pop video shoppe but never did rent it...)
And 28 Days Later is 2002, not 2008.

Oops! Fixed now. That's what happens when you use the last guy's list as a template.

Your list is all over the place, Jeremy, and that can make for the best Halloween mix. You don't want to eat too much of the same candy.

Awesome list. I always watch Monsters Crash the Pajama Party on Halloween along with Dracula. I watched The Haunted Palace as I ran through the whole Poe cycle this year and as a Lovecraft fan it is an overlooked favorite. I much prefer the 1925 cut of Phantom and as I'm just entering the Universal cycle now in the last week I've been looking to slip that in too.
A good way to watch Ghostbusters for Halloween is to slip in the Real Ghostbusters episode 'Take Two' before Ghostbusters and then watch the episode "'Citizen Ghost' after Ghostbusters.

Cool man. I've had Kolchak set aside to watch for a long time now. Looks like I'll finally have to crack that one open.
