The Bleeding House (2011)

Watched this tonight and thought it was great. Main antagonist has some very good dialog and the acting to back it up, while most of the other actors held their own. It also has a serious somber tone that I always seem to gravitate to. I can see some finding it a bit slow but I thought it was pretty compelling. I would recommend it.

Don't know anything about this one. Looks like the DVD was released a year ago:

Trailer looks pretty good:

Anyone else seen this?

I saw it a while back. I didn't think it was very good, but it's not without merit. The lead actor (the one who shows up at the house) is outstanding in his role. I had more fun watching his performance than I did watching the movie. He carried the film. I think the movie did have a lot of interesting ideas, but they weren't conveyed very well.

I saw the movie on Showtime (they were airing it frequently for a while), but the movie is also available streaming on Netflix. Even though I really didn't care for it, it might be worth a look for fans of indie-horror. It's technically well-made, and it did offer a few interesting ideas. Maybe others will enjoy it more than I did?
