The long in the works sequel to Mad Ron's '80s VHS party favorite is on its way this October, courtesy of Virgil Films! CELLULOID BLOODBATH: MORE PREVUES FROM HELL (2012) compiles 61 awesome trailers, including quite a few rarities like ALABAMA'S GHOST, W, PSYCHO FROM TEXAS, etc., hosted by a slew of presenters like John Zacherle, Caroline Munro, Linnea Quigley and the returning Happy Goldsplatt. You might as well go make room on your shelf next to your 42nd STREET FOREVER discs. (Special thanks to Temple of Schlock for the tip!)

Will there be a re-release of the first part, too? According to some reviews the picture quality of the RC1 DVD is abysmal. Is there another release with better picture quality?

I doubt it, since the only source was a video master. It was only made for a video release to begin with. The picture quality isn't that bad.

I look forward to this sequel though, the first one was fun.
