Thumbs up Kudos to Rhett

Thank you for the informative, well-written review for The Collingswood Story... and thanks for enlightening me on a film I had never heard of before. I love this kind of work and it is great to hear about it, especially in a prominant review on a respected website.

Keep up the great work!

I'm off to order me a DVD, now.

Never heard of this film before but I might check it out.

On a sidenote: Kudos to rhett for making his reviews so much more fun to read with stuff like:

Thanks for the kind words guys, it means a lot. The director of The Collingswood Story had just sent me an email asking if I could review the DVD, and I had never heard of it before either. But someone who is that passionate about his work definitely deserves the chance to be recognized.

I'm glad you went out of your way to pick it up David. Make sure to let us know what you think of it when you do see it.

Sorry dude. No offense intended. It just reads that way (maybe only to me). It's kind of like saying "gee honey, you look really good today, have I told you lately how much I love you?" and then getting to the real point which is ususally that you've done something really bad/stupid, or you want something really big!!!

back to kissing Rhett's ass instead, I'm definitely gonna check out What Have You Done to Solange? now.

OK, I was probably gonna rent it anyway, but it's a done deal now.

Awesome Paff, you should definitely enjoy it! As you can tell it is one of my favorite gialli. Let me know what you think of it, eh?

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Great photography and camera work, and a nice plot that exposes more and more sordid details as it unfolds. OK, the generous amounts of nudity don't hurt either.
It's definitely not a cookie-cutter paint-by-numbers black-gloved-killer Giallo.

BUT, in your review Rhett, you keep calling the main guy Henry. Wasn't his name Enrico?? (obviously, the Italian equivalent of Henry, but still...)

Awesome Paff, I am glad you liked it!

Heh, what I did was, I watched the film one morning and didn't get around to doing the review until the next day. So I used the IMDb for some of the characters names, and I just assumed the data there was right. Who ever thought the IMDb would have false information?
