They probably should've stopped with the first one.

I guess Stephen King figured it was just a short story and didn't bother reading the fine print in the contract about sequel rights.

I liked the first one. The sequels were not that great, IMO. If they came out with a cheap box set of them all, I would probably buy it but I think the rights are all over the place.

The best one is the third. URBAN HARVEST. It's got some cool gore, a sweet "He who walks behind the rose (or is it rows?)", and a fucking corn plantation in a NYC warehouse. The first I like pretty well, it's got a good feel to it. I don't know, even though it's broad daylight some of those kids still creep me out in that movie. The second is kinda boring, and only memorable for the guys death in the church. The fourth was awful (a lot of people like it), I could barely stay awake. Five was just another DTV teen horror flick, and got pretty boring pretty fast. 6 was hilariously bad. I haven't seen REVELATIONS yet, but I'm sure I will one day.

"Rows," as in "rows of corn."

Honestly, I didn't even like the first Children Of The Corn let alone any of the sequels.

The third one was pretty bad ass and the first one was ok, but all the rest are gay, in my opinion.

I think part 2 and 3 are decent. At least some good gore and what have you, I think there's even a woman being raped by nature scene in part 3. One of those two has a scene that actually kinda frightened me. I forget which, but it involved a group of kids, some parents and a flaming bed.
Part 4 is pretty crappy, but it does have Naomi Watts in it, giving a way better acting performance than the movie deserves.

For region 1 it's a common problem , usually some episodes of a whole out of print , like 3rd part of Halloween , 2nd part of The Children Of The Corn , 3rd part of the House , also 2nd part of Predator came so late although released in region 2 at the 18th of June 2001 ...

So you have to get 2nd hand of the missing episodes (for out of prints) or get from a region 2 shop ...

I think part 4 is a great movie, and so is part 3 although the ending was just too cheesy. Also check out part 2, a great sequel. (Part 5 is not that bad.)

Part 6 was boring and the last one (revelation) sucked big time. All movies are available on DVD in the US, with the exception of the second one. (It's on DVD in Europe).

Hey Jon, watch how you use the word "gay"...okay? If I can get called up for using "towelhead", you're gonna get it for "gay". Fair is fair, moderators...

As for CHILDREN OF THE CORN...enough is enough, already!

Agreed!
The first one's decent. That little brat from the Twilight Zone needs to wish this series away!

he was NOT meaning gay as "homosexual" he was meaning gay as stupid. I use that term all the time and so does society most people except it. If you cant thats your problem not ours. Now if he was making fun of gays or something like that you would have maret but he did so you dont.

'Gay as stupid'...oh yeah right, puddytay, like that's supposed to be acceptable now?! What society do you live in? I live in the SF Gay (Bay) Area and nobody I know who's out of high-school diapers uses it as "stupid" without getting their face smashed in...

You and I both know exactly what Jon meant...let him speak for himself.
