CK, I'd say that both of the film mentioned do have that Hammer feel to them. Check both out, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

CK, Horror Express is worth checking out! I was also thinking about getting the Vampyres DVD. (It looks saucy!) Hope these reviews help you out-

Great quote, CK! Makes me want to see the movie even more.
Another movie that oozes Hammer is The Company of Wolves. With it's dream like imagery, incredible atmosphere, and terrific set design, it could almost pass off as a latter day Hammer movie. Too bad it's not on DVD yet!

Cool

Uhh, okay... Vampyres is definitely now on my list! Porn with fangs - I love it!

www.dvdmaniacs.net has two different reviews for Horror Express. Apparently two different companies have released that film onto DVD.

I watched Horror Express on television as a child and found it a frightening experience. It's well worth a viewing. I remember the music being chilling and the effects were great (for the time). Vampyres is a movie I bought on VHS in the UK some time ago - I believe the version I bought was cut. I'd recommend it to any Hammer fan as it's definitely in the same vein (no pun intended!)
