Meanie, you're right! I forgot about the lame ending in Taste. I have an old 8mm silent condensed reel of Taste and the intertitles say something about the forces of good sundenly manifesting to destroy Dracula. Even the explanation is lame!

I've always liked the demise of Baron Meinster in Brides of Dracula. The idea that Van Helsing used a windmill as a crucifix was both goofy and cool at the same time.

Collinson twins.. I have got to see this movie..
![]() I would have to agree that the windmill as crucifix was pretty cool. My least favorite would have to be the ice in Prince of Darkness and the bushes in Satanic Rites. Now that I think about it.. I cant decide whether I love or hate the water sprinkler deaths in Satanic Rites either.. Hmm. ![]() [This message has been edited by jae (edited 01-29-2001).] |

Well, with Lee having to be begged by studio heads to even be in, Taste the Blood of Dracula and the mere fact that he's seen very little in the film itself, I'm not surprised that the ending is both disappointing and ludicrous!
