Ouch! I just added this up. Total cost of this lot is $1034.94. (not bad in the grand scheme of things, really).

I'm in the EU right now, and Deepdiscount is charging me $8.95 for each disc shipping! So add another 635.45 shipping!

Shit - looking at my list, I'm paying almost as much for shipping one of these as I would for the disc itself.... Anyone know of cheaper ways of shipping these to the EU?

I've got like 48 discs in my wishlist at DVDPlanet. I use them to make my list but I usually end up ordering from DDD. However, I often find that they don't have everything listed (at which point I order from DVD Planet), and I can't always remember all the movies I need to see. My total is $864.35, so I'm not too far behind.

That is an awesome wishlist!

I am just waiting for my first shipment from DeepDiscountDVD to ship at the moment.

Now I am thinking that I shoould get a wish list put together from their site. It will make things easier next time.

Although I am sure that my list will be even longer than yours.

My favorite DVD store is DVD Empire. I don't think they charge shipping... and the prices are somewhat cheap!

Holy cow! Some great ones there. Some comments:

--village of the damned—
I want this too – but the ORIGINAL. Just not much interested in carpenters version.

--hellraiser—
You know, this is one of the best stories for a horror film going - reconstruction from the dead by eating people. However, the lame SFX at the end just ruin it for me. Sometimes I just turn it off before it hit the end.

--shining (kubrick)—
Not on my list, but it really ought to be.

--event horizon—
Holy shit! Get this NOW. This is in my top three DVD’s PERIOD. Barebones as it is, this movie just gets me every time – I LOVE it. There is no better way to spend 90 cinematic moments.

--Die Hards-
I assume you mean Bruce Willis? If so, I have the third one which I like, I need the others too.

--The Hitcher—
Yup, should add that.

--tenebre/deep red Dario Argento col 3
I’m not a huge fan of Deep Red, but Tenebrae is great. This box is cool.

--COTLD/Dont torture a duckling—
Ah, Fulci! Nice one! Duckling is great, and after multiple viewings, COTLD gets better too.

--dead alive—
Just discussing this. I hate this stupid ass film.

--demons/demons2—
Oops, hate these too.

--doctor who the key to time—
I want all the Dr. Who DVD’s – but I won’t pay $20 for them. They would be a very nice $10 purchase, but while they stay high, they stay on the shelf.

This thread is wonderful!

It's reminding me of all sorts of things that I need to add to my wishlist.

Scary to see what the price of it all adds up to.

--Blood Beast Terror—
Me too, shame there are no great releases of this about. But I’ll get it anyway.

--Blood from the Mummy's Tomb—
I have this one, one of the lesser efforts of Hammer imho

--Empire of the Ants—
I have these, pure cheese and the WORST special effects I own

--Frogs—
I have this too. Great cheesy fun. Ray Milland on his death bed, but he was still great as the grumpy old man.

--Hammer House of Horror - Complete Television Series—
Just got this recently, great stuff.

I liked Frogs, but I thought Empire Of The Ants was one better. The cheese factor on that one makes it one hell of a great bad movie.

I should also say Thanks for the tip on Hammers House Of Horror TV Series Box Set. I am currently waiting for mine to arrive in the mail next week.
