Dawn of the Dead to be filmed in Toronto!

Now I am not too happy about this remake. Pissed sorta, but damn. The film will be made in either the Eaton Centre or Warden Woods Mall in Toronto. I am hours within those places. We should all trek there and try to be extras and stuff. All my fellow canucks here should do that. Filming starts in June sometime.

No offense but the whole "hey America is expensive, let's go film in Canada instead!" thing is really fucking the US over. A lot of people are losing their jobs over here because of it. Kane Hodder is a perfect example according to his interview on Arrow in the Head.

I guess it's just economics but my chances of ever holding a job in that industry have slimmed down.

Woohoo, i live less than 30 mins from Toronto. If they need extras i would love to be one. I never thought i would actually be happy about the remake but its cool that it is being filmed near me.

I'm seriously gonna try to get in as an extra. If I get thrown out or whatever by security, all the better.
