I can confirm this with some Spanish television shows I've seen.

I rather have it dubbed and subbed. Just b/c the fact if my ass is to tired to read I will just listen and watch, or when sometimes you can understand that the heck the actor says in dubbed... then I will read the subbed

Shift, Brad Pitt's role in Snatch is a perfect example. I couldn't understand a word of what he was saying so had to playback with subtitles.

Sorry, to me that TOTALLY misses the point of the character. I wish they hadn't put subtitles on his character. The idea is that you are not SUPPOSED to understand him! (notice how even the Brits in the movie are puzzled by what he says)

It's kinda like Kenny in South Park or Boomhauer in King of the Hill. The appeal of the character is that you can't understand what they're saying half the time....

I haven't meet a movie buff who would prefer Dubb over Subb. I even know some hard-core anime fans in my school who won't even bother watching a movie unless it's in OVA with subtitles. it's crazy.

I'd prefer Subbed as well, but not all the time.

Well, we ain't exactly met, but I'm a bit of a movie buff, and I go for the dub. Their are limits to my endurance. For serious foregin films, I'll do the sub. for italian horror which is stupid from scene one, dub.

As I've stated earlier, I don't really care. I tend to see more people leaning towards subtitles than dubbed. That's fine, but if you aren't familiar with a language (I don't know anything beyond bad english and "Flying baby shit" in german, polish, french, and japanese. Other than that I don't know jackshit.) I just wanted to point out that there will never be such a thing as a perfect dub, and by the same token a perfect sub. Its all in the translation, and I've seen some films where the translation has been obviously horrible on both ends of the spectrum. That's why I don't care, whatever the best copy is available in, that's fine. I could care less beyond that really.
