Yeah, the Goblin ones are classic.

I think, though, for all time I would have to go with HALLOWEEN. It is a fantastic soundtrack, and every single track gets replay from me. All John Carpenter's other soundtracks are great too.

Any horror soundtracks by John Carpenter, Goblin, Ennio Morricone, Tangerine Dream, and Giorgio Moroder are all great in my eyes.

Oh, and the PROM NIGHT soundtrack is disco-licious.

"At the Prommmmm Night, everything is allllllright!"

Yeah most stuff by Goblin, though Tenebrae + Suspiria stand out for me.

Also Cannibal Holocaust has some fantastic music, very atmospheric and strangely seems ideally suited to the film.

The "argento" euro edit of DOTD has much better soundtrack than the normal US release, which has a bit much disposable cheesy 70's music for me.

Two of my favourite soundtracks which I have in my (now ancient) record collection are The Exorcist and The Burning. Both are truly spine chilling soundtracks. Rick Wakeman's music for The Burning is truly terrifying stuff...an electronic nightmare. Highly recommended but, to the best of my knowledge, it's not available on CD, only vinyl.

I love that BODY DOUBLE soundtrack from Pino Donaggio.

On a sidenote: I just watched SILVER BULLET and totally forgot how much that song ("Joyride") at the end sucked

Love the Dawn of the Dead Goblin score

I just wish that they would release the cues from the DeWolfe library (ie. everything else besides the goblin stuff in Dawn)

I actually talked to a DeWolfe rep and he said that a couple of different folks had contacted him recently about releasing the soundtrack to Dawn commercially and in both cases the money was too big of a risk for both parties. We closed out the conversation with, "... at least there is hope..."

I have also had contact with a guy recently that has all the DeWolfe cues looked up and listed and he is practically begging a couple of different companies to do it, and laying the idea in their lap for free. At least there are other folks out there that are as desparate for these tracks as I am, so there is hope.

i don't know any entire soundtracks, but i liked the Psycho theme remix used during the credits of Re-Animator and the theme from Night of the Demons.

I'm a big fan of Howard Shores Cronenberg soundtracks, particularly Existenz and Crash.

Well, I'd have to answer with the soundtracks I play the most in the car. Those would be Tenebrae and Sleepless.

The Spider soundtrack with the Kronos Quartet is nice to - but the first two take the crown.
