"Coming Attractions of movies that never come"

Produced for the video market by Wizard Video back in the early 80s - The Best Of Sex & Violence is a fun little Trailer compilation of X-Rated porn musicals (!), Blaxploitation flicks, Horror, Comedy, Action, Karate and Biker trash flicks from the late 60s (The Sin Of Adam & Eve) till 1980 (The Boogeyman) - hosted by John Carradine.

Mr. Carradine guides us through the wonderful world of exploitation flicks and his comments are quite entertaining. Poking fun at the genre and at one point he's even left speechless, overwhelmed by the sleaziness of The Manhandlers

Coming attractions include BURY ME AN ANGEL, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, THE DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT, DISCO GODFATHER, THE TWILIGHT PEOPLE, THE SINGLE GIRLS, ZOMBIE, TOURIST TRAP, TERMINAL ISLAND, TRUCK STOP WOMEN and many more.

My absolute faves are DR. MINX (sleazebomb!), TANYA'S ISLAND (the female narrator makes you believe your about to watch some kind of Oscar worthy LOVE STORY drama or something

), SWEET SUGAR (damn, Phyllis Davis is hot!) and those three "adult musicals" which made my head spin: ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Kristine DeBell!), CINDERELLA (Cheryl Smith!) and FAIRY TALES (Linnea Quigley!).

Worth mentioning is of course the sizzling trailer for EMANUELLE AROUND THE WORLD, with a catchy but cheezy as hell theme song:

I'm a big fan of Trailer compilations (can't hardly wait for that SW sampler!) and I'm really glad I own this.
A DVD release would be very cool and more then welcomed because my VHS copy is almost unwatchable

This was absolutely the best. I haven't seen the video for this since 1993, it would be such a great DVD if someone ever did it.

sounds awesome Hellbilly, a porn musical is definitally something i wanna see before i die.

I too am a huge fan of the trailer comps. I'd pick this up right away if it was released on DVD

Alice in Wonderland XXX is a great porn/musical "She got his ding-a-ling up, she got his ding-a-ling up..." complete with sing along bouncing ball!

I saw this many years ago, at least 15, and I tought that it was great. This is something that I would also love to see on DVD.

As far as the x-rated Alice In Wonderland goes, it sounds like a hoot. Since we have it at work I will have to be sure and grab it for a watch one of these days.
