re-released???

It was never released as a DVD to begin with. Everyone wants this DVD, but the movie has multiple owners who has the rights, so a studio would have to buy it from all of them to make it into a DVD and no one is willing to do that.

There should be a law against doing that to us.

Not if it's from Ebay. The ones being sold there are all full frame Mexican discs. Don't know if they are bootlegs, but they may be.

There is a copy of the Japanese LD, if you feel like paying $130.

Dave,
Time to make a dvd of it with your new burner, and start a distribution network.

There are tons of crappy bare bones Mexican DVD on e-bay, but why even bother with those when you can just get the VHS for dirt cheap, I bet they will both look the same

This movie was so popular that it spawned a Cartoon Show, yet no studio cares to try and put it on DVD, it's a sad state of affairs.

it's not mexican. It's from someone I trust. It's from a true fan that only sells to true fans. Not "some guy on ebay"

I think the cartoon version of the monster squad was from the 70's, before the movie came out.

ah, you are right! They started repeating them after the movie came out, thus the confusing on my pair.
