Blood Night: The Legend Of Mary Hatchet

Has anybody seen this yet? It has Danielle Harris and Bill Moseley in it.

It is only available through amazon and the movie's website, but the website has it on sale for $9.99 through Christmas. Is it worth a blind-buy for $9.99?

I know a few people have seen this, any reviews? I think it looks interesting but it is not available in many places so I am looking to get some opinions before a blind buy. Thanks!

It was alright nothing you haven't seen before. It kind of reminding me of Gutterballs without the explicit sex scenes. Good gore, everything else about it was pretty thin.

I really enjoyed Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet. It’s far better than Gutterballs and deserves better than to be grouped with that level of garbage. Its spooky and the gore is fantastic. The dialogue is appropriately goofy without crossing the line and it has all the necessary ingredients that make up a great 80’s slasher. Danielle Harris’ performance is excellent but somewhat brief. She’s maybe on screen for 15 – 20 minutes. If you are a fan you will not be disappointed.

I did a post over at Killer Reviews with screenshots of the ladies. NSFW link

It looked decent,I wouldn't mind checking it out.I usually like the old ''urban legend'' style plots.

I did end up ordering this back when I started this thread. It wasn't that great, I was a little disappointed. The gore was decent though.

My biggest gripe was how the film looked. The image looked filtered, like they did color correction or something. It looked really bad, they should have left it alone and given it a more natural look. The outtakes on the DVD look way better than the film does.

It wasn't anything great. Same as 50 other DTdvd movies basically, but with Danielle Harris which maybe gives it a bit of an edge over the rest. But really you've seen the story before, the acting/dialogue/story are...mediocre at best, and overall it's pretty forgettable.

Actually I just watched it a couple of weeks ago and I almost couldn't remember it until Danielle was mentioned

I got it for $9.99 from the official website a long time ago. I didn't think it was anything special.
