I've had Dead Next Door for over a year already! (Although I hear the region 2 version has commentary and other stuff my disc doesn't
) I have the region 1 Splatter Rampage version That I've heard is now OOP.Is the upcoming one gonna be a SE? Might have to sell the old one on ebay. Last edited by bigdaddyhorse; 06-03-2003 at 10:36 PM. |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a new SE coming out for DND. I have the Splatter Rampage version as well.

I bought DND from Tempe Entertainment about a year and a half ago, but I don't see it there now.
I saw this in their forums. It was posted by Tempe. "There's plans afoot for an official remastered special edition in 2004 at the earliest...probably as a 2-disc mega edition and also a single-disc budget version. Stay tuned..."

Yes, we officially sold out of the Canadian import of THE DEAD NEXT DOOR several months ago and took over the whole Splatter Rampage label. The first U.S. release arrives July 8 in the form of the MULVA: ZOMBIE ASS KICKER! & FILTHY McNASTY Double Feature, then QUEST FOR THE EGG SALAD on Aug. 12.
Believe me, THE DEAD NEXT DOOR DVD is our most-asked question (next to "What's going on with the sequel?", LOL). It's a massive undertaking because we want there to be one official Region 1 release rather than toss out some half-baked release to make some quick dough and then release a Special Edition later on. There's an overwhelming amount of material to go through so the absolute earliest I'd expect to see this is late 2004...but I make no promises that will actually be the date!
