2 Disc Last House on the Left - Uncut from Holland (R2)

For those, like me, that were disappointed that the feature packed R2 UK release was trimmed of 30 seconds of footage from the MGM release, this Dutch DVD may be of interest:

Disc specs:

Uncut
Digitally remastered
PAL R2
16:9 widescreen
Dutch subt on/off, English spoken

Disc 1
Director's commentary
Chapter selection

Disc 2
Celluloid crime of the century
Scoring last house
It's only a movie "featurette"
Outtakes And dailies
Forbidden footage
Theatrical trailer

release: 24-06-2003

Looks like this'll be an "uncut" version of the R2 UK AB release.

(Details from the Movietyme forum)

Are they just the confirmed extras? It seems to be missing a lot of the better stuff on the UK DVD, including the second commentary track, the Krug Conquers England documentary, Tales That Will Tear Your Heart Out short and the alternative version of the film (Krug and Company).

In fact that sounds more similar to the US release.

I'd like to know if the gaps in the U.K. DVD Commentry are noticeable.

True....
I was half asleep when I posted the news last night....my bad.
Still, it's an alternative option for UK R2 purchasers from the cut AB version....
