Talking Just picked up...

Hey all

I just got "Dahmer" and "Ted Bundy" today, both for $13, which isnt bad! I just watched Ted Bundy, it was pretty good, I've seen Dahmer before and wanted to add it to my collection. I noticed that both have similar cover design and I believe both are made by the same company (First Look??). My question is, do any of you know of any other serial killer movies they put out? Was "Gacy" put out by them?? I havent seen that one yet....hopefully I'll check that out very soon. Thanks

First Look also put out Ed Gein. All three (Ed Gein, Dahmer, and Ted Bundy) are available in a box set released last month for pretty cheap. Gacy was done by another company (DEJ released through Lion's Gate), but I think the same producer did it.

The Secret Life of Jeffry Dahmer is a great flick, I really enjoyed that one. I haven't seen these new serial killer flicks, but I can tell you already that they are too tame for my tastes (based on what I've read)... Something like "The Secret Life" is an amazing little indie flick, freaky shit.

EDIT: I had no idea this was on DVD, and cheap too! Definitly a purchase!

I haven't seen Gacy yet, but a good movie based on him is already on DVD called "To Catch a Killer". Might be hard to come by now though as I believe it is out of print.

Actually To Catch A Killer is available. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...347910-0067860

It is $26.99. It runs 185 minutes, however IMDB lists the original movie as 360 minutes. Not sure if they are correct or not. I know that the old VHS version lists a running time of 95 minutes. Does anyone know how long the movie actually was when it was boradcast?

I'm not sure of the actual running time, however it first aired on TV as a 2 part mini-series.
