Can I post reviews of theatrical movies?
I've written up reviews of 10 movies I saw at the Seattle International Film Festival this year but I'm not sure if it's acceptable to post reviews of films that aren't out on video yet. If someone could let me know if it's OK you would have my thanks

I'm not a moderator - they have final say of course. For me, I'd say yes, as long as you do one of the following two things:
1. State right up front (at beginning of review) whether it contains spoilers or not. 2. Or... write the review in such a way that it contains no spoilers at all. Otherwise, I'd guess everything is okay. Were all ten of those films horror related? Obviously the theme of all reviews here are horror or sci/fi. Not sure if that is by design or not. |

Well, i've seen reviews for films that are still just on VHS, so i guess this would be fine.

NO!!! WE WILL BAN YOU!!!
I don't see why not! Just make sure you cover any potential spoilers (since movies in the theaters are less likely to be seen by as many people as a movie on DVD may be). |
